Who says you can't celebrate Christmas Late?

Who cares that it's months past Christmas?
You can do gingerbread houses anytime right?
We sure had fun making ours!

These ones were made out of chocolate!
YUMMY!

Troy and Lela were in charge of melting the chocolate.

I am so glad that I have three of the sweetest nieces in the world who come and hang out with us. We LOVE having them with us and always look forward to the weekends. Thanks girls for helping the boys out with these. They had a blast with you!

Good Job Buddy!

While the boys were decorating their houses, Clint and I were having our own photo shoot with Miss Blakley! What a little ham!

I love my little girl!

Carter and Daddy Night

I'm lovin the CHEEZ, Carter!

It was Carter's turn to go out with his Dad for the night.
What did he choose?
Movie and Subway

He really wanted to go see Justin Bieber's Movie Never Say Never but, somehow the movie was sold out when they got there. Strange!! Wonder who did the checking? Clint?
Any who, they went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Carter loved every bit of the movie (except the few parts that Clint covered his eyes on).

I'm so glad that you boys had FUN!
Troy and I get to go next. Can't wait!

Carterism

The other day, my mom had to dropped Carter off to school for me. She pulled up to the school and noticed that he forgot his backpack. So she asked him if he needed it and his reply was: "Grandma, sometimes I bring my backpack and sometimes I bring just my back." And then he jumped at of the car and ran into school. Silly boy!

Valentines Day

We had a very low-key Valentines day this year. We drove around and delivered the few valentines that the boys wanted to deliver. And then we had a nice quiet night at home. We thought it would be fun for the kids to make their own pizzas for dinner. They became quite the masterpieces! While the pizzas were cooking, Clint made us some yummy stir fry.

After dinner, my parents left a SURPRISE valentine for each of them on our doorstep.

Blakley got a darling outfit and a new book. Her FAVORITE thing right now! She loves to read, just like her mommy :)

The boys each got a pair of basketball shorts and matching top.
Thanks Grandma and Papa!

I LOVE my Valentines! I've got 5 this year!
Happy Hearts Day!

Kinderdog

Carter got to bring Kinderdog home from school for a sleepover on January 3rd. When he got home from school, we asked him what kind of adventures he wanted to go on with his new friend. He said let's go to Artic Circle and get an ice cream cone! I think he wanted to play on the playground just as much. Artic Circle it is!

When we got home, Carter dressed him up in one of his undershirts and a pair of his shorts. And the two of them went to bed. The next morning, they shared a plate of peanut butter toast:) Carter had a fun time with his buddy, Kinderdog!

Tanner's Pack Meeting

Tanner earned his Bear!!! He has been working so hard on trying to earn it before he turns 10 and he did it with a couple months to spare. Way to go Buddy! Clint is the Assistant Cub Master in our ward. Since the Cub Master couldn't make it to the pack meeting, Clint was the one to reward Tanner with his badge. He also earned one gold and 3 silver arrow points!

Tanner was asked "What were some of the fun things you have done to earn your bear?" He was quick to reply "I loved going to Gardner Village. And I loved learning how to play ping pong."

He has two of the sweetest scout leaders. They are both so good with the kids and always make it so fun for them:) He is really going to miss them when he moves into Webelos in a couple of months.

Tanner ~ I'm so proud of you and all of the hard work that you have put into scouts this past year. Not too much longer and you will be our little eagle scout. You'll be the first in our family! I hope you're planning on it:) We love you so much!

Student of the Week!

Carter got to be STUDENT OF THE WEEK in his kindergarten class. We made him a poster with some fun facts about him and some pictures that they displayed in the classroom all week. He also go to be the teacher's helper all week long.

I got to go into his class on Thursday (Jan 13) and tell his class some of the reasons why I think he is so special to his family and why we love him so much!!! Cute little Carter's smile was beaming from ear to ear:) Before I left, his class did a little cheer by spelling out his name while Carter and two of his friends got to wave pom-poms! Oh my little Cheerleader:)

Carter is such a big helper around the house, especially with Blakley. He plays with her every morning before he heads off to school. She idolizes him:) He is so sweet to her. He calls her "Baby." You will often hear him saying things like "Hi baby" "You look so cute, baby" "You're such a big girl, baby" "Baby, you want to play with me?"

Blakley loves to play xbox with him! And this is their favorite spot in the house to sit. You can find them there all the time:)

Carter~ Thanks for being my big helper! I am so glad that you are still home with us half a day. We are going to miss you so much when you go into first grade and are at school all day long.

Carter is trying to teach her how to play with daddy's itouch. Wonder if she caught on?!?! Probably, she's smarter than you think:)

We love our Carter Boy!
He is such a sweetheart. I am so glad that he belongs to us!
xoxoxo

Daddy-O's Birthday

My dad celebrated his 61st birthday on Jan. 13th! What a fun reason to celebrate! My family all went out to dinner at Italian Village and then headed over to my parents house after for presents and dessert.
We gave him this gift basket full of his favorite goodies. What's better than watching a good movie with lots of yummy treats?

You can hardly tell that all of the grandkids love their grandpa. Most of the time, you can't keep them off of him. He really is just a BIG KID!

He had to model the new sports coat that my mom gave him. I'm lovin the pjs tucked into his socks. It's a Nice Look for you dad!

Carter let him borrow his crown for his big day!

Looks like my dad was the only one singing Happy Birthday! Nothing like a solo performance for your own big day! Happy Birthday Dad! Hope it was a good one:) We love you!

Scoob's Birthday

To celebrate our friend, Scoob's birthday, our family all got together and took him to dinner. Poor Scoob probably goes crazy with all of us:) It gets kind of nuts when we are all together! But for some reason, he keeps hanging around.

Happy Birthday Scoob!
We're glad we got to celebrate it with you!

Gotta Love how Cody tries to ruin the picture!

Seriously, I hope we tipped big for leaving such a mess!

Wendy, Cody, Shane, Emily and cute little Kenli

Carter lovin' his cupcake!

Blakley trying to show me the mint in her mouth.

New Years Eve

We rang in the New Year over at Kim and Rob's house. Our kids were in HEAVEN! They got to stay up till midnight playing with their cousins. FUN FUN FUN Even Blakley made it till 12:00!

We took lots of pictures during the night!
We played lots of Wii

We had SOOO much fun singing karaoke!
I think we got everyone but Clint on the microphone. I think he was a little shy (or way tired) to sing, next time for sure!

Even Blakley sang for us!
We had a DRAG Fashion Show
Thanks boys for the entertainment!

These boots are made for walking!

Blakley got to get in the bath and get into her warm jammies!

Ended the night with our New Year's Kiss!!
Oh Ya Baby!

Good bye 2010
