Let's remember February...

Oh my! Why do I do this to myself?  I have problems remembering what happened yesterday not alone months ago. Good thing I have pictures to help me remember.

My beautiful niece, Tristin, had her Jr. Prom. I can't believe that she is old enough to be going to Jr. Prom!  Clint and I had just started dating when she was born and now look at her all grown up.  We are so proud of the girl that she has become.  She is such a darling, bubbly girl inside and out.  Love her to pieces!

She rocked out her dress!
What a babe!

Valentines Day

Cute Tanner made his own Valentine's box this year.  I really liked what he came up with.  Creative little man!

Troy's class made their own Valentine's bags at school so he didn't want to make a box. Tanner helped Carter with his box though.  When I say helped I mean take his own box from last year and making some changes to it.  He cracks me up.  Carter didn't seem to care that it was a hand me down and loved it all the same:)

We got LOTS of treats from our family and friends delivered to our door that night! YUM!

Troy had to make a simple machine for a school project.  He made this little invention all by himself.  What a little stud.  He got an A on the project.  So proud of the hard work that he put into it.

We try to take our kids on one-on-one dates with either Clint or myself every month.  February was Carter's turn.  He got to go to a Utah Jazz basketball game with Clint.  You can hardly tell he was excited to go... He put on everything he own that was Jazz. He loved getting all the attention from his dad.  I really hope that my kids always want to spend one-on-one time with us (even when they get older).  They are growing up way too fast:( I want to cherish the time we have with them.

The last week of February we had great weather.  Anything above 40 degrees and my kids think it is summer.  We were so ready for some fun in the sun.  Shooting hoops! Playing baseball! Rides bikes! What more can kids ask for?

Oh yeah! Don't think your shades!

I am sure that I am missing tons of events that happened this month, but I least I got as many as I did!!! Yay me!  On to March!

So far in 2013

Really? Has it been five months since the last time I blogged.... And even then I was already four months behind.  Is my life really that crazy that I can't find a minute or two to blog???  I was going to give this whole blog thing up but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that without my blog I would have forgotten lots of things.  I'm pretty sure I am losing my mind:( I have so many blessings in my life.  I just don't want to forget about all of the little things!

Now let's see if I can remember what has happened in our lives so far in 2013!

January

Blakley's soccer season came to an end.  Even though she wouldn't play a single game without having Wendy or Cody hold her hand and play along with her, she LOVED playing with her cousin Bentley! She also was so excited to have her uncle Cody as her coach!  Thanks guys for the awesome season!

We did lots of sleigh riding and playing in the snow!  I love that Blakley lets the boys put her in their old snow clothes instead of hers.  Silly girl!

We got our bounce on at Airborne one afternoon!  What a fun workout!

All three boys finished their Jr Jazz season.  They LOVE playing basketball and really are little naturals.  They all take after their dad!  It is always so fun to watch them play and their skills improve with each game.  Each of them had friends on their teams which makes the season even better.

Tanner won his first medal in one of his wrestling matches! Way to go Tan Tan!

And last but not least we celebrated Grandpa Tom's 63rd birthday!!!  We are so thankful to have him in our lives.  He is such a huge part of our life.  My kids are very lucky to be able to live next door to their grandparents and get to see them on a daily basis.  I hope they always remember their childhood and the memories made with their grandparents.  We LOVE you Grandpa Tom!

I'm sure we did lots more in January that I am missing...  Guess I should just be happy that I remembered as much as I did.  I swear I am losing my mind:)
After going through my pictures tonight I have realized that we just don't take as many pictures as we used to. SAD!!  I need to be better at that.  Now let's see how long it will take me to move on to February....
