Oh Troy!
I wake up today and notice that my house is dirty. Why was it not last night or did I not notice it? Either way, I decide that we are definitely going to clean today. I turned on a movie for the boys then started to dust the house. When I came back upstairs to check on them I found Troy licking the walls in my bedroom and wiping them off with a sponge. "What are you doing?" He turns to me and says "Just helping you clean." Even though that is so gross, Wasn't that cute of him to help?

Way to go, Tan Tan!

Tanner's school has been having this contest since the first day of school. Who ever brought the most box tops at the end of the year would receive a prize. Tanner came home from school the other day with his prize. He won 2nd place with a total of a whopping 290 BOX TOP$! He was so excited to show off his very own $10 gift card to Target. His class also won a pizza party for having the most box tops in the school.
I think I was as excited as Tanner if not more during this contest. I would catch myself only buying certain brands because of the box top that I could clip off and send to school with him. I think the school saw me coming and knew I would be a sucker for this one. Now that it is over maybe my grocery bill will go down.
Anyways, Thanks to everyone who helped Tanner out (especially the Canevari family---Love you guys!)

Happy Graduation Troy!
Well it is official, Troy has made it through his first year of preschool. Although he was absent more days than he actually went, we are still very proud of him.
It was a struggle everyday we tried to get him there. He would cry on the way to his school (sometimes even threw up because of crying so much) then grab a hold of me until one of his darling teachers would finally have to pry him out of my arms and take him in. Several of the days I would pull away from school with tears in my eyes, too. Then on the last day of school, I told him this was his last day and boy did I see a huge change in him. I pulled into the school parking lot and he told me that he would be OK today and that I should stay in the car and watch him walk into the school by himself. What the ???? His cute teachers and his pediatrician all said that Troy would get over this stage and he was doing it more for the reaction from me than anything else. I just didn't think it would take all year.
After him doing so well on his last day, I thought the graduation program would be a piece of cake. Way Wrong! Troy walks into the building with us and just breaks down in tears. He doesn't want to be there, he doesn't want to sit on stage, he only wants to sit on my lap in the audience. So much for videoing him perform. Well right before the performance, cute little Tanner convinced Troy that he wants to be up on stage. But the only way he will go is if I sit with him. So imagine this 65 kids up on stage and then me. And if that wasn't embarrassing enough, the helper asked if I wanted to wear a graduation hat to match the kids. Thanks, but no thanks. Troy did awesome though! He said the pledge by himself and sang every song perfectly.
Any who, I am glad he and I both survived his 1st year of school. Next year should be much better since Troy and Carter will be in the same class. YEAH!

Happy Mother's Day!
I just might have the sweetest mom alive! She has been someone that I have looked up to and have had as an example to follow. She is the kindest and most thoughtful person. She would do anything for anyone.
Since the passing of my grandpa three years ago, one of my mom's main concerns has been taking care of her mom (grandma Bev). My grandma and her little yorkie (Day-Zee) have moved into my parents home. Watching my mom taking care of her mom has really shown my family what being a Christ-like servant is. I know that it isn't always the easiest, but you never find her complaining.
Thanks mom for always being there for me and my family. I owe the world to you. I love you very much.
Happy Mother's Day!

One Ugly Visiter!
Last night my dad show up to our house like this. What a dork! We all couldn't stop laughing. When my dad was a little he was hit in the mouth by a baseball bat and broke his two front teeth. He had crowns put over them. Well, Yesterday he bit into his hamburger and his crown broke in half. He actually went back to work for the rest of the day, too. He said you couldn't believe the looks he received from everyone.
We love you, hillbilly!
