Circus

While we were gone to the cabin, we surprised my kids (and parents) with tickets to the circus. Cody, Wendy and Bentley got tickets and went with them. The boys had so much fun:) Miss Blakley got to spend the night doing girly things with Grandma Terra. Thanks Terra, there is no way Blakley would have sat down long enough to watch the circus.

Clint and I are so LUCKY to have such great parents. They are the BEST! They are always so willing to help us in anyway they can. A million thanks to them. What can we ever do to repay them?

They took Trax downtown. Which come on that could of been enough fun in itself. My boys LOVE Trax.

Thanks Wends for taking the pictures!

I sent my kids with $20 to get a treat or something, unfortunately $20 doesn't go too far at the circus:( Carter somehow talked the boys into letting him get a snow cone while the other two shared nachos. Hmmmmm tricky Carter! Good thing Aunt Wendy came to the rescue with glow sticks and candy that she brought with her. Thanks Wends!

My boys had such a FUN time at the circus! They are already talking about going next year. Funny thing is Tanner and Troy were LUCKY enough to go to the circus again the next day with their uncle Rob. Wow! Two circus performances in two days:) Can you say SPOILED??? Carter got to spend the day with his grandpa at a carnival that Jimmy Rex put on.

LoViN' oUr CaBiN tImE!

Clint and I went on our 2nd annual trip to Island Park with some of our friends. Just adults, no kiddos. YEA!! And like always we had a ton of fun! Thanks Em and Dave for the trip!

On Friday, we went into West Yellowstone for some shopping and of course there was some goofing off!

Then off to Yellowstone Park. It is a whole new experience going though Yellowstone without kids in the car. When we were there a couple of years ago, all my kids wanted to do was see animals and go to Old Faithful. That's it. We missed out on so many things.

This time, we stopped and saw some really cool geysers.

We hiked to Fairy Falls.

Saw some animals.... Too bad we only stop to take pictures of this elk:)

On Saturday, we rented some canoes and went down the river.
What a chill day!

And look what we saw in the river...... A MOOSE!! We realize now that we were really close to it and probably weren't very safe, but it was so cool.

We on our way home, we went to Mesa Falls. This place is so pretty.

And of course, we had to take a group picture in front of the cabin before we said our goodbyes to it till next year!

We came home to our bedroom full of pictures made by our kids.
Carter was so proud of his! He drew a picture of himself wearing his PC FLYERS (Sandlot's a new favorite movie around here).
So good to know the kids missed us enough to draw some pictures:)

Top of Utah Marathon

On September 17th, my amazing hubby ran the Top of Utah Marathon. It was his 3rd this year! WOW! Talk about one determined runner. He signed up for the grand slam this year (4 marathons with St. George being the last one). I thought he was CRAZY when he signed up. Four marathons in a year is WAY TOO MANY! But he has proved us wrong:) It may be too many for some people, but not for him!

My three little boys all waiting near the finish line waiting for their hero to come!

At the finish line and he still has a smile on his face:)

Way to go Babe!!
We are so proud of you!
