Yay! Yay! Yay!

I'm finally blogging about 2014!

Our year started off with a bang...

New Years Eve
We only had two of our kids with us this year:(  Carter and Tanner got invited to a mini vacation with their friends at a hotel.  Troy and Blakley got to choose what we got to do.  Decorating GIANT gingerbread men was the top of their list.  Followed by games and fireworks!  Lela and Moe stayed the night with us.

I went in for my yearly MRI on my brain.  I'm really wanting to get off of my anti-seizure medicine.  Hopefully 2014 is the year to do it.
But first...Let me take a selfie;)

 My poor little grandpa fell and broke his foot:(

 On the same day that my grandpa broke his foot, Clint was showing off his mad skills at Airborne and ended up breaking his finger:(

After seeing a specialist, they decided that he needed to have surgery to place a pin in it.

We celebrated my dad's 64th birthday!

Can hardly tell how much the kids love him?!?

Blakley started tumbling!

Tanner had his 7th grade science fair. Can you guess what the topic is??? Basketball! "How Does Air Pressure Inside a Basketball Affect its Bounce Height" to be exact:)

Christmas Eve

We spent the afternoon/evening over at my parents house.  We exchanged our gifts with each other while we munched on food, food and more food!

It has always been my parents tradition to give the kids matching jammies to sleep in.

After everyone went home, my kids wanted to exchange their gifts to each other.

Tanner had Blakley's name.  You can tell by the HUGE smile on her face that she loved her gift.

Blakley gave Carter his very own FART GUN!  He was super excited because he got the same thing for Troy and really wanted one of his own:)

 Troy had Tanner's name.  He gave him a bag of his favorite treats and the first season of Doctor Who! Some of Tan's friends have been talking about Doctor Who and saying how much they love it.  He has been wanting to see it.

Christmas Day

This was my kids view as they woke up and looked down into the family room!

Blakley was screaming and jumping up and down!  To say she was excited is an understatement!

Christmas is always a fun and exciting time for our family.  Last year was no different.  I am so blessed to have such a great family.  I love them all so much.  They really make my life complete.  I am one LUCKY gal!
