Wait, it's Easter already????

I have had a really hard time deciding if I wanted to post about Easter at all this year. #1 because I really don't have any memory of it and #2 I feel like I have completely dropped the ball this holiday :( I know I have good reason but still being a mom makes me feel like I should have been on top of this one. Why wasn't I completely ready before the weekend started???? No cute Easter clothes for the boys this year, No cute Easter dress for Blakley this year, No Easter bonnet for me...hehehe! Next Year I promise (except for the bonnet)! But after all, I remembered that this holiday was about the kids and they completed LOVED it. Everyone picked up the pieces and it came together!

Since I was still in the hospital on Easter morning, the Easter Bunny decided he would visit my kids when I got home. Lucky for them the doctors released me on that Sunday afternoon so they only had to wait an extra day. I think originally they were talking that I would be there at least two more days. I was so glad to be home!

Sunday afternoon, my parents had the family over for dinner and fun!
There was only three rules:

Rule #1: Find as many eggs as you can

1....2....3
And they're off!

Blakley took her time and found some.
She wanted to get them all by herself. No help!

Rule #2: Find a bucket filled with lots of goodies!

Blakley found hers and it was jammed packed with princess stuff. YAY!!! So fun get girlie stuff for a change:)

Guess this proves I was there?!?! lol
If only I looked better for the day!

Poor Tanner was looking and looking for his basket. He couldn't find it anywhere. After Clint, Cody and Shane asked each other who hid it they realized that his was still in my parent's bedroom. Luckily, they side tracked him enough for them to hide it without him seeing. He had no ideal it was forgotten. Good Cover guys!
(I had no ideal this happened, lol! I just read it on Wendy's blog! Thanks Wends for remembering everything about that day!)

Troy needed a little help to get his!

Looks like Carter got his OK!
Good Job Buddy!

Rule #3: Enjoy the day with the family!

It's funny (at least to me) finding all of these pictures on my camera because I really do not remember ANYTHING from that day. Cody came over a while after and started talking about it and I thought he was kidding about the whole thing. It wasn't till I looked at these pictures did I finally believe him. Gees! That whole hospital thing took ALOT out of me:) Glad I'm better now!

That night, Troy set out their Easter Baskets for the Bunny to fill! He couldn't find Carter's so he wrote him a little note with instructions on where to leave Carter's stuff! LOL! Love that boy! And we couldn't forget the carrots and ranch!

The kids all LOVED what they got and I am soooo THANKFUL for the Bunny(s) this year for helping out and filling the baskets! I really means a lot to me!

Happy Easter!

Easter Fun

Can I just say how much I love where Clint works. It is such a great company to work for. This year for Easter, they invited all of the employees kids to come to an early Eater party.

The kids got to decorate their own sugar cookie and then go get their faces painted.

Addie and Christian
We're so glad that Jojo works with Clint, otherwise we would hardly ever see him or his kiddos.

Do you think he likes BYU or UTAH?

I love how they made the snake look like it was going in and out of Carter's hair. Too cool!

Troy loved looking at himself in the mirror and making his shark open and close it's mouth with his. Very scary buddy!

Miss Blakley wanted nothing to do with the face painting, but she loved watching the boys get theirs done:) Thanks C4 for the fun time!

Grandma Oma

Clint's darling grandma turned 84 this year on April 15th. We really wanted to spend her birthday weekend with her, so we piled into the car and headed on up to Idaho. She couldn't have been more happy to see all of us. Her face lit up when we walked in the door.

She had just been released from the hospital not to many days before we arrived so she really didn't have very much energy to leave her house, but that didn't stop us from having FUN with her. We ended up watching the movie Tangled. She had not seen it before, so it made it fun to watch it with her. I loved listening to her giggle during it. What a sweet lady!

I took my fair share of pictures. Everyone was being such a good sport for me. Thanks guys!

We wanted to surprise her by replanting all of her pots with flowers! I sneaked out during the movie to plant them. She was so grateful that her patio looked like spring-time that she started to cry. Oh how I love her! I know we made her day!

The kids were so excited that we stayed in a hotel. This of course means that there is going to be LOTS of SWIMMING!!! I think we started each morning and ended each night in the pool!

Tanner being a little smarty pants here and trying to tell me that he was going to dive in the "NO DIVING" zone. Ha Ha Ha

The next day, we all went over to Clint's Aunt Linda's house for a little Birthday party. Grandma just didn't seem to be as bright-eyed as the day before. She didn't even make it through dinner before she had to go take a nap. She was sure trying to be a good sport though.

Clint and his cousin, Paul

I love how I tried to take this picture several times and each time Troy would jump into it pulling a silly face. I finally gave up. Guess he was meant to be in the picture!

Before we left the party, each of us went into the room to tell her good-bye. Because of her poor health, we really weren't sure if we would see her again. When it was Clint's turn to go in, she asked if he would give her a blessing. He told her that he would love to and asked if there was anything in particular that she wanted from the blessing. She told him that she really wanted to go see grandpa and she was ready. Clint gave her the most wonderful blessing. He blessed her with strength to finish out her journey here on earth and to let her know how much her family and her Heavenly Father love her.

Grandma Neoma passed away on April 21, just 5 days after we left to come back home. What a blessing that we were able to see her before she passed away. I am so thankful that we were able to spend the weekend with her. I am thankful that my kids will have happy memories of their great grandma and know that she loved each and everyone of them so much.

We will always love you Grandma Oma!

Sneak Peak

Guess who's backyard is getting remodeled??
We are!!!
Can't wait till it is all done:)

Miss Blakley was scared of the tractor so she put on this bicycle helmet and felt much better! Funny Girl!

Carter and Blakley spent the whole morning watching the landscapers work. I felt like I should have paid them a babysitting fee. I was able to get caught up on all the dreaded laundry.
