It's Carter's turn to go on his date with me!
I decided to surprise him and take him to Disney on Ice. And of course I wanted to take my Grandpa Tom with us. (I don't think there is a soul that loves Disney more than Grandpa Tom.)
We picked him up from school and took the traxx downtown. Carter was so excited to ride the train. I think this was his favorite part of the night.
We had awesome seats right up front.
He loved seeing Mickey and his friends!
Unfortunately he had never heard of Lilo and Stitch...
or The Little Mermaid.
Luckily he loves Peter Pan and Captain Hook!

After the show ended, he said "I thought we were going to Disneyland. That's where I really wanted to go."

First of all, I love that you took Tom! That's hilarious! Second, Carter cracks me up! Disneyland? Really?? He's too funny! We love you so much Carter and we love you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE! :) I love your traditions of doing one on one dates. That's something I want to copy for my own little family. I think it's really important. I love seeing how excited your boys get to go. Their smiles say it all!
