Carter had another check-up for his hand yesterday. He was so excited because the doctors told us that his wounds are healing very well and we no longer have to bandage them up. He does have scars running down the sides of two of his fingers and around his knuckles, but we couldn't be more happy with his healing. They also told us that he now has to wear burn sleeves on those two fingers. They are hoping that they will keep the scars to a minimum. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he keeps them on, so we don't have to do the full glove.
After the doctors told us the good news, Carter looked at me and said " Mommy, I yuve those yadies." He still doesn't pronounce his "L's". We are so lucky that Carter has been such a good sport through all of this. He definitely has been my brave little man!

Kids can handle so much more then adults. That is so great that things are going so well. He is such a cute little guy. Keep us updated.
Yeah for Carter!!!!
OK Shari... I am LOVING this Buble, I new I could get you listening... He just needed to sing to you a few more times then he did me.
I want to hear you "Bumpin Buble"
So glad that things are looking better for your little guy. Hope he continues to heal. Bless you all.
I'm so glad his fingers are healing! That is such good news. What a cutie, besides. I think your boys look like you and your brothers...
Kelly and I have been traumatized by this whole ordeal, and as a result, neither of us will buy a treadmill. Every time it's windy outside, you can think of me dragging my fat butt around Thanksgiving Point golf course because I am now terrified of treadmills (the nice days aren't so bad). Just kidding.
I was kind of already traumatized about treadmills about a year ago when that British music video that was all choreographed on treadmills came out. Did you ever see that one?
