3 Months Old

Blakley is 3 months old today! Where did the time go? She has seriously been such a blessing in our family's life. Everyone loves her and just can't seem to get enough of her. I thought the newness of having a baby around would have worn out by now, Boy was I ever wrong.

At 3 months Blakley:
is smiling like crazy
is reaching for the toys hanging from her carseat
can roll from her tummy to her back
loves to carry on conversations with whoever will listen
is sleeping 7-8 hours at night, eats and then right back to bed
loves her bath time (splashing is her thing)
loves her big brothers
is definitely a mommy's girl (only cause mommy=food) but loves her daddy to hold her
loves a blanket near her face when she tries to go to sleep
is wearing 3-6 months clothing
loves her binkie
loves eating her hands

We love you so much Blakley and are so glad that you are in our family. We can't imagine our lives without you!

More Carter Quotes!

Carter: 'I love you!'
Daddy: 'I love you more!'
Carter: 'I love you moster!'

Mommy: "I love you."
Carter: "I love you more than a house."
". . . . . . . . more than Blakey's bum" (WHAT????)
". . . . . . . . more than the whole galaxy."

(When Blakley was crying)
Carter: "Grandma why don't you feed Blakley?"
Grandma Sue: "Because your mommy has too."
Carter: "Why?"
Grandma Sue: "Because I can't."
Carter: "Oh, is it because you have little boobies?'

Carter talking to Blakley: "Hello peanut butter cup"

Yesterday on his way to timeout (I know shocker) he yells: "I quit."
Troy: "What do you quit?"
Carter: "I quit this family!"

Carter getting out of the bath says: "Mommy, I love Daddy more than you."
Me: "You do, why?"
Carter: "Because he picks out my jammies for me and you make me pick out my own."

Oh Carter aka Captain Destructo we love you so!

Tanner's letter to Nate

Back in November for Family Home Evening, we wrote letters to my cousin Nate. He is serving in Washington. We mailed him the letters but somehow Tanner's did not make it to the envelope that I sent. I ran across it today while I was cleaning my kitchen. I just had to copy what he wrote:

To Nate from Tanner
I'm so glad you are a missionry nate. you shoud be
the Prophit. I miss you so much nate.
you are so nise. are you having a fun
time? I'm tring to be like you evryday.
Do you miss me? You are the best cusen ever.
I love you nate.

The cute thing about this letter is he went up to his room to write it all by himself and was so proud when he was done. Good Job Tanner! I know that Nate will love it.

Blakley's Blessing Day

Today, Blakley received the sweetest blessing from her daddy. Clint did an AWESOME job. Thanks babe. Blakley did good, too. We had the family over for a luncheon after, but our camera was dead and we didn't get one picture. YEAH for us losers! Lucky for me, I had these pictures taken last week.

She looked like such a princess in her blessing gown.
