December 23rd...

Almost done with my Christmas posts. Bear with me....

Every year, our family looks forward to December 23rd.  It is the one consistent thing in our crazy life.  It is when our whole family gets together to celebrate our FAVORITE time of year! This past year, my cousin Cami and her hubby Chris were sweet enough to host the big event.

Santa always makes his appearance at the end of the night.  The kids are so excited and crazy by then.  Look at them crowd around him.  Hopefully he isn't claustrophobic:)

He's Baaaaack....

Lucky, the elf, has found his way back to our house!  Our kids couldn't have been more excited to see him.  They would wake up each morning and try to be the first one to find him.  Here are some of the many places that we found him hiding this year!  He is one tricky elf!

 Sometimes he would bring treats with him!  The kids especially liked to find him those mornings!  Look at the CRAZY bedhead hair that Blakley has going on!

One morning, Blakley was the first to find Lucky!  She picked him up and carried him upstairs to show the boys.  Carter freaked a little and told her that Lucky had lost all of his magic because she touched him.  Lucky our kids have such cool parents that can go online and find out how to get his magic back.  We found out that we had to put Lucky back where we found him and Santa would take care of the rest.  This is the note Santa left that night.

 I love the bed that the kids made for him.

 Lucky wrote my kids a thank you note!

My kids were super excited to find it the next morning.

Look how cute they are holding hands waiting for their turn to sit on Santa's lap. So precious! Don't mind the water all over Blakley's dress.  She tried to get a drink out of the drinking fountain all by herself.  She succeeded plus got a bath at the same time.

Tanner was too old to jump up on Santa's lap this year.  I even tried bribing him.  Sad!  My little man is growing up way too fast.
