Halloween Week

The week of Halloween, we decided to take a little mini vacation to warm St. George. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Halloween:)

We did a whole lot of SWIMMING!

We went to a fun place called "Pirate Island".
It is a pizza buffet/arcade.
The kiddos loved it...so did the adults!

"My Girls"
Love them more then they will know!

We went to see THRILLER! So what that I saw it the weekend before. It was still GREAT! Most of the kids loved it, while Troy and Brooks not so much:( Troy was actually pretty scared. Poor Boy!
Check Troy's face out in this picture. He even hated the Not So Scary Clown. Sorry Troy Troy!
Carter, on the other hand, LOVED it! He even posed next this creepy creature!
I think these two loved checking out the dancers!
Blakley sat and watched the first half in awe and then slept through the second half. I think she loved the music and the dancing.

This zombie can up behind Clint and stole his itouch. That's what he gets for trying to read during the intermission :)

On Saturday morning, Clint and I got up and ran the Monster Dash 5K. Wish I would have bought a costume to run in. lol Thanks babe for running with me. Maybe one day I will run as fast as you......probably not. Sorry!

Later on we decide to carve some pumpkins.

It was so nice to be able to go Trick-Or-Treating without having to wear winter coats like we usually do every year. Yay for warm weather!!
Blakley really got into the whole trick-or-treating thing this year. She loved running up to the door and then would squeal when they answered the door holding candy.

Our little Fairy

Troy, Tanner, Carter, Clint

Clint and Tanner

Tristin rockin the 70's, Jessica (Deb from Napoleon Dynamite) and Lela the flapper

After all the trick-or-treating was over, the kids all got into bed and the adults stayed up late and played SCUM. (Thanks Jess for teaching it to us old folks.) Carter of course didn't, he came upstairs after a little while with his own jack-o-lantern face painted on. NICE ONE CARTER! What would we do without our little funny man.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Saturday = Fun Day

Since it was Tanner's turn to go out with one of us, Clint wanted to surprise him and take him to the Western Motocross Nationals.

Tanner was so excited when he found out that is where they were going. He has been wanting to go to something like this forever.

While they were there, my cute parents took the other kids to our ward "Trunk or Treat." Thanks grandma and grandpa. You're the BEST!

Blakley and Kenli was suppose to go as little fairies, but Blakley wanted no part that. She had her wings, tutu, bow and shoes off before they even got to the church. She has quite the attitude lately:) She can give quite the CHEEEEZ though!

The boys got to have their faces painted:

Troy got a skull on one cheek and a pumpkin on the other.

Carter went for the snake!

Looks like the kids at so much fun last weekend that maybe I should go out of town more often:)

Pumpkin Carving Time

While I was on my little girls trip, Clint took the kids to the pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins. Too bad he left the camera at home:( But we do have some pics of their final products! They each did their own carving with NO HELP! Good job boys:) Who says they need a mom around here? lol

GiRls TriP!!

(This is the little cottage that we rented)

A couple of weekends ago, a bunch of friends got together and planned a GIRLS TRIP to St. George for a PAR-TAY weekend. I have been looking forward to this trip for so long. It seemed like so many conflicts (primary program, program practice, ward party, sick kids, field trips, couple of the girls having to back out) kept coming up with this weekend, but it the end we decided to still go. And I am soooo glad:)

We went down to go see Thriller at Tuacahn.
One Word = AMAZING!

Afterwards, we had to get pictures with all of the characters!

The rest of the trip was filled with shopping, eating, talking till wee hours in the morning (Ariane, what did my phone say? 5:48 am), getting 10 hours of sleep total and laughing, laughing laughing. I don't think I have laughed that hard in forever. Thanks girls for the fun time!

And a BIG thanks to Clint for taking care of the kids all weekend. Love you Babe!

Oh My Witches!

Since Carter had a two week fall break from school, we decided to cram as much as we could into those days. One day, we met up with Emily, Wendy and my mom at Gardner Village to see the witches.....and to ride the ponies of course!

I love that Blakley looks as big as Carter in this picture.

Mr. Bentley was too fascinated with the ducks to turn and pose for the camera:)

It just wouldn't be a normal outing without Carter finding something to climb up.....looks like today it was this huge tree:)

Best Buddies!

Carter's Field Trip

Carter's kindergarten class had their 1st field trip to Wheeler Farm.
(10-11-10) He was so excited to have a "mom and me" day. We packed our lunches and met his class for a picnic.
After lunch, the kids got to paint faces on their pumpkins.

We went on an adventure walk around the farm until it started to rain on us. But the rain didn't stop us from going on the hayride:) By the time we left we were both soaked.
I loved being able to spend the day with my little man!
