Happy Mother's Day!

There is one day a year when we get to cherish the moms in our lives. One day when we get to tell them how thankful we are that they on our Mom. I am lucky that I have two wonderful people to cherish today! My Mom and Mother-in-law

My mom is one of the most thoughtful and giving people that I know. Most people are lucky to have their lives cross paths, even if it is just a short time, with someone who is such an angel. I have been blessed to have this angel as a mom. She has been such a blessing in my life and has taught me so much. I have an great example of what a mom should be. Thanks! I know that she has learned all that she knows from her mom. My grandma was one of a kind. With this being the first Mother's day with her here, I am sure that my mom is having a hard time. I can't imagine what my life would be like without my mom here. I love her and I am so grateful for everyday I get to spend with her. Never take anything for granted:) I love you Mom. My mother-in-law is such an amazing person. She has been through so much in this life that would take out even the strongest of people, but she has hung on with a smile on her face. She is always cheerful and knows just what to say to make your day! She is a very thoughtful and giving person. I am thankful that she has raised such a incredible son. She has been there for him his whole life and for this I am thankful. I love you. Happy Mother's Day!


I am very grateful that I am a mom to my four little kiddos! I hope that by taking what I learn from these two special moms that I to can be a mom that my kids look up to. I love my kids more than anything!

She is Here!

Blakley Ann

Our sweet little girl made her grand entrance into this world last night (April 28) at 5:50, just about one hour after my water broke. She weighed 6lbs 15 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

The little boys are so excited that she is here and show it every time that they come to the hospital to see her. Troy is having a little bit of a hard time with me and her having to stay at the hospital for two nights. He wants us home with him. Blakley is so lucky to have her three big brothers waiting at home for her!

She is just an angel and even though she has been with us just a short time we are all in love with her.

Tanner came right from his Pinewood Derby to see his sister. He is holding the ribbon that he won. His rocket won 4 out of the 5 races that he completed in. Yeah Tanner! Thanks grandpa for taking him!

Carter's 4th Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday Carter!

On Sunday, we celebrated Carter's 4th birthday! He woke up to a room full of balloons from the Balloon Fairy! This is something that my boys look forward to each year. We went to church and Carter was very excited because the primary got to sing to him. He stood in front of the room with the biggest smile on his face! I wish I had my camera. Too cute!

We had the family over that night for a BBQ. Carter loved being the center of attention that night and was spoiled by all of the gifts that he received. Carter~You must really be loved!

One of the only things that Carter asked for this year was this Stars Wars Helmet and Gun. He was so happy that he got them both!

Mommy and Daddy surprised him with a new big boy bike like his brothers. Grandma Sue wanted to make sure he was safe, so she bought him a matching helmet.

Carter, Mommy and Daddy love you so much! We don't know what we would do without our little Farty Far. You truley are the happiest little boy. Your smile is contagious! You always know just what to do to make us laugh. There is nothing that we love more than to hear your little giggles.

Please don't grow up too fast. We want you to be little for just a bit longer.

A Day in the Sand

Clint and the boys decided that they needed a little boy time and headed off to the sand dunes to do some 4-wheeling. Our brother-in-law Rob and our nephew Clint joined the crew, along with Clint's friend Scoob. They had a blast!

It's Easter Time!

On Saturday night, we finished off our fun day with dying Easter eggs with grandma and papa. The boys had a blast coloring the eggs.

On Easter, Troy was the first to wake up. He came and got in our bed and laid down with us for a half of hour or so waiting for his brothers to wake up. What a sweetheart to wait so patiently for them. When they finally woke up, they took turns finding their baskets with the clues the Easter Bunny left behind for them.

Tanner's basket was behind the big leather chair (his favorite place to hide from his brothers and play his Nintendo DS).

Troy's basket was in the dryer. Helping with the laundry is one of his favorite chores to do lately.

Carter's basket was in the baby's room. Carter is so excited to have a little sister and asks daily when is she coming out.

Tanner's Baptism

April 11th was a special day for us. Tanner was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by his dad. Our family has been looking forward to this day for a long time.

We had a luncheon after wards to celebrate his baptism and Easter. We had lots of yummy food. Thanks to all the wonderful family members who offered to bring it.

We had an Easter egg hunt for all of the little kiddos! Even though it was cold outside, the kids had a blast!


We also celebrated Caden and Carli's 14th birthday! I can't believe they are already that old. Time please stop flying by.

My aunt and cousins even had a little surprise up their sleeves for me. A Baby Shower! I got a handmade blanket and sweater jacket, a darling dress complete with sandals and a pink beanie with matching bracelet.



Tanner, your dad and I are very proud of your decision to get baptized. You are such a good example for your brothers and sister to follow after. I hope that you will always remember to Choose the Right! We love you!
