The other night, Tanner told the boys that if they went to bed right away the Eater Bunny would come and hide eggs around the house. I pulled Tanner aside and told him that it wasn't Easter yet, so he couldn't say that to them. He turned to me and said "Don't worry, Mom." And then he jumped in bed with the other two.About 20 minutes later, Tanner came out of his room and said "Mom, the boys are asleep." He then got a bucket of plastic eggs that he found in the basement earlier that day and started to fill them with all of the leftover Christmas candy that we had. He excitedly hid the eggs throughout the house and then went to bed.
The next morning, he woke the boys up and told them that the Easter Bunny had come and left eggs for them to find. He was so excited following them around and watching them open the eggs.
Tanner is such a sweet older brother. I am very glad that Troy and Carter have such a great brother to look up to. I love my little dude!
